Apple Launches Cheaper 16GB iPod Touch Without Rear-Facing Camera For $229 - cultofmac.com
Apple has this morning added a new iPod touch to its online store that does away with the rear-facing iSight camera in an effort to be cheaper. The device also has just 16GB of internal storage — half that of the regular iPod touch — but it is $70 cheaper at $229.
The new model also comes in just one color — grey with a black front — and it doesn’t include the lanyard that comes with the regular model.
Aside from those changes, the cheaper iPod touch is identical to its siblings; it has a 4-inch Retina display, a dual-core A5 processor, and a front-facing FaceTime HD camera for video calling and taking selfies. It also comes in the same
