Steve Jobs Won a Grammy Steve Jobs loved music almost as much as he loved Apple, so it's almost fitting that he was posthumously awarded with music's highest honor: a Grammy. Apple previously received a Technical Grammy in 2002 but this Grammy, the Trustees Award, is reserved just for Steve.
Specifically, the Grammy Trustees Award is awarded to "individuals who, during their careers in music, have made significant contributions, other than performance, to the field of recording." It's like the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award but for non-performers as well. Previous winners include Les Paul, Clive Davis, Thomas Edison, Walt Disney and a group Steve would be extremely proud to stand next to, The Beatles.
